After six years, we’ve started making small changes here and there, along with maintenance on parts of our build. This weekend, we decided to add a larger tabletop to our lagoon table. While we were at it, we refreshed the Osmo oil on our bamboo countertops since we already had the supplies out. I was a little concerned about the oil’s age and how it held up in the garage through very cold and very hot temperatures, but it looked fine. It re-stirred easily and went on as smoothly as ever. Just as advertised, touching up the existing Osmo Oil-covered bamboo countertops was simple, with only minor prep using a green 3M scrubby. I’m still an Osmo Oil fan. It’s a little expensive, but it has a lot of advantages for van build surfaces, especially that you can repair or refresh it without stripping or complicated prep.
